MATILDE, focusing on the impact of migration on the local development of rural and mountain regions, together with other 9 EU-funded Horizon 2020 projects are organizing a joint policy roundtable. Horizon 2020 projects will present their preliminary results on the economic, cultural and political impact of the presence of refugees and migrants on local, regional or European constituencies; on the legal protection; on innovative solutions to enhancing integration and cohesion and on the role of domestic agents.

The roundtable will bring together researchers, practitioners, journalists and policy-makers to discuss the potential of re-interpreting existing narratives, to present good practices resulting from the ongoing projects, and to inform political decision-making processes.

The event will be held on March 1st, 2022 in Brussels and it will be able follow online.
